We are pleased to announce that Dikran Acemyan, Co-Owner and Co-Managing Director of Duran Doğan Basım ve Ambalaj A.Ş. (Turkey), has been elected as the new Chairman of the International Packaging Group, IPG Association, effective January 2027.
A member of IPG since 2011 and a former member of its Management Committee, Dikran has been actively involved in international industry associations for over two decades. From 2004 to 2012, he represented Turkey in the Delegates Assembly of the European Carton Makers Association (ECMA). With nearly 30 years of experience in the folding carton packaging industry, he brings extensive industry knowledge, an international perspective, and a strong commitment to collaboration and knowledge sharing.
As our industry faces rapid technological developments, evolving sustainability requirements, and new challenges, we look forward to working with Dikran to further strengthen cooperation between our members and continue creating value for our international network.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Edward Zumbiel, our outgoing Chairman, for his leadership, dedication, and valuable contribution to IPG. Ed has played an important role in strengthening our association and fostering the spirit of trust and collaboration that makes IPG unique.
