IPG met at Drupa & continued its journey to Tampere, Finland, for the Technical Meeting 2024 from June 8th to 12th, hosted by Pyroll.

IPG met at Drupa from June 6th to 7th. We witnessed the latest technologies and updates from our associate members such as Heidelberg, Bobst, Koenig & Bauer, ESKO, and HP Indigo. IPG had a chance to experience it all on a private tour at their booths.

IPG continued its journey to Tampere, Finland, for the Technical Meeting 2024 from June 8th to 12th, hosted by Pyroll. IPG visited Pyroll plants in Tampere.

Pyroll Packaging Pyroll Pakkaukset provides customers with comprehensive customer service—from the design and manufacturing of packaging to the selection of packaging machines. They also provide all services concerning packaging, regardless of the material, making them a leading manufacturer in the Finnish packaging industry. They produce cardboard, paper, plastic, and aluminum packaging, with an annual output of 1.5 billion packages across their eight factories in Finland.

More than 50 participants from around the globe, including active and associate members, were warmly welcomed by the Pyroll team. We witnessed their commitment to modern sustainability and responsible packaging processes through their cost-effective ‘Digital Warehouse’ model that minimizes waste and storage needs.

After Tampere, IPG visited the Stora Enso plant in Imatra. Imatra Mills, consisting of the Kaukopää and Tainionkoski production units, is one of the largest mills producing consumer packaging board in the world, with over 90% of its produce exported globally. Key facts about Imatra Mills include:

Thank you to all our associate members for providing IPG with the opportunity to explore the latest advancements during Drupa. A special thanks to Pyroll for showcasing the exceptional offerings of Finland, the happiest country in the world.

IPG will meet again for TM 2025 in May, hosted by IPP in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
