IPG recently gathered in the beautiful city of Antigua, Guatemala, for our Annual General Assembly, graciously hosted by SigmaQ – a longstanding and loyal member since 1984. The event was a celebration of collaboration, culture, and innovation in packaging.

Our members had the unique opportunity to experience Guatemalan culture, sample its incredible cuisine, and tour SigmaQ’s impressive plant in Guatemala City. 

SigmaQ demonstrated their commitment to sustainable development, showcasing how they align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals to improve both the environment and community well-being. 

SigmaQ, founded in 1969 in El Salvador, now celebrates over 50 years in packaging and displays. With a team of 2,500 experts across 10 countries and a network of 12 specialized production plants, SigmaQ’s global presence and dedication to quality make them an invaluable part of the IPG family.

The meeting included impactful updates from IPG members and exciting presentations on Generative AI in Packaging and Sustainability Initiatives—including paths to net-zero carbon emissions.
