It was our pleasure to congratulate our valuable active member, Schur on their 175th anniversary and their great achievement in the field of Packaging and Printing with a customized gift, a Swiss biber.

Biber is gingerbread and a Swiss specialty originally from the region of Appenzell. There is evidence that the Appenzeller Biber was first baked in the 16th century. A precious picture of a wedding, a village festival, a legendary figure, a crest, or a local symbol is often embossed on the gingerbread filled with almond or nut.

IPG is proud to have members that are celebrating their 175th anniversary. In 1846, Johan Wilhelm Schur opened a lithographic workshop in Horsens, Denmark. That was the beginning of the Schur packaging business, and this year they are celebrating their 175th anniversary as a family-owned group that is now headed by the 6th generation, this is an amazing achievement.

IPG is once again proud to announce that three of our members won the European Carton Excellence Award 2020.

The winners were announced at the 2020 Carton E-vent & Awards on October 7th, 2020.

Stora Enso:

On September 23rd, the yearly IPG meeting was held virtually due to the Coronavirus spread.
More than 30 participants including 19 active and 7 associate members joined the virtual meeting.
The highlight of the meeting was 2019 vs 2020 figures to show ''How COVID-19 has influenced IPG's active members in sales, investment, and purchase''.
IPG will meet virtually for another Technical Meeting in autumn.

IPG, which is characterized by openness and integrity among its members, held special 2 virtual Annual Technical Meeting sessions on June 29th and 30th.

More than 50 participants appreciated the presentations from the IPG’s associate members (suppliers: Bobst, Heidelberg, Koenig & Bauer, Esko, HP Indigo, Sun Chemical, and Stora Enso) presenting their latest innovations and planned developments.
